There's nothing wrong with liking young talent that you think is gonna be strong in the NBA. I just don't think we have to worry about every good young player not playing for the Knicks. We have some guys that can play and hopefully when we can add some more top tier players at key positions, this team will be on it's way to better things.

The lack of a 1st rd pick is very annoying given our situation, but there's nothing we can do about that, except hope DW can acquire a 1st rd pick.

most of us have I assume.. greg monroe from georgetown was a hot commodity last year... not a very athletic big, but can pass the ball, doesn't dominate like he should, but is a real team player. If people get on gallo because he is passive, monroe will not be much better..

Evan turner is a nice player, a slick player, but honestly isn't that athlete chandler is and I am not so sure he will be a better player than chandler.. he pretty much is the same age as chandler(will be 22 in oct). I really don't see where he is that much better of a prospect...

but whatever......

You would think people would get that. Obviously the idea is to start over in a sense. We'll of course have all of our draft picks that are still under contract and unfortunately Curry and maybe Jared. We start off with only 6 guys under contract! So how is that not starting over? Man we've been waiting for a situation like this for years!

Greg Monroe isnt a leaper but he has great hands and is highly skilled around the basket.

He's be a beast at C in this system. However, we aren't getting him so why are we torturing ourselves? I doubt we could trade Jordan Hill straight up for Greg Monroe.

He could be the best player but he wont go 1 and he might drop a tad because of his *character*. The Knicks wouldnt trade Gallinari for pick 1--he's the next L Bird. And you know they wouldnt.

Why do I say I would be willing to trade these guys? Because I feel the overall direction is horrible. I would almost always build from the bigs down--gives you the foundation infrastructure inside. This is a heap of sht---I like Chandler--I really do he really is our best young player{Lee's our best overall but with the direction being horrible I cant pay him 70mm] but I would give him up in a heartbeat if I could have both of these guys.
