the only college ball i've watched this season has been Kentucky games, & i'm thoroughly impressed by their big 3, Wall, Cousins & Patterson... but Wall makes that entire team go & he's clearly their star... he's gonna be the #1 pick in this year's draft.

the dish at 0:47 is 1 of the sickest dishes off a drive i've ever seen

The Nets might have Wall and Calipari next year. Either way, Cal was an underrated coach in the nba who lost his team because of the strike. I think he would do great if he took the job. If NJ gets Wall do they trade Harris?

God i almost wish i could trade places w/them if they were guaranteed of getting the #1 overall pick in this draft... that won't be seen til Draft night... their 2010 plan is for John Wall just like ours is for Lebron

Yeah I caught some of that game tonight. Kid is a straight up BEAST and has a good head on his shoulders. He has superstar written all over him.

Just hope he goes west.

People are starting to say that Cousins is better. I don't know how Wall and Harris are going to play together, but that would be a nice problem to have.
Alan Hahn: Nate Robinson has been on a ridonkulous scoring tear lately (remember when he couldn't hit Jerome James with a Big Mac in early January?)

Cousins is a man child but still needs development... Wall is a ready made star, he's this year's Tyreke Evans

Exciting looking player, but honestly, I have seen brandon jennings do a lot of highlight reel dunks on the layup lines.. and Derrick rose is just as big and explosive as wall.... No disrespect to wall, but we are starting to see a lot of these guys come out with a lot of athletic ability, but really aren't PG's.. Jury is still out on rose being a natural PG if you ask me... I think the question remains? is wall any better than derrick rose? I mean rose seems like he can do everything wall can and rose looks bigger and stronger..

well if he is this years tyreke evans, then he should be there around pick #4... I think he is more like Derrick rose. The reason why these guys get so much hype is because of their athletic ability.. If tyreke evans had a vertical, and was an explosive run/jump athlete, he goes #1 no questions asked.. but because evans was not really an above the rim player, he didn't get as hyped it seems.. This seems to happen all of the time, they forget that tyreke has size and can get to the hoop when he wants.. Ah, the wondef or youtube mix tapes...

Wall has those long ass arms, he's like Rajon Rondo with Derek Rose skills & quickness... plus he's 6'4"... he's gonna be a nightmare matchup on a nightly basis

i'm talking hindsight Evans... if people knew Evans would be this good he would have been taken #1... i'm not basing my opinion of Wall on YouTube clips, i've watched him in several games this season.

We've got a better shot at Lebron than the Nets have at getting Wall...and we dont have to flirt with the worst record of all time in the meantime.

The worst record in the league has, what, a 25% chance of getting the number one pick? Our odds on landing Lebron are higher than that.

wasn't necessarily talking about you in that instance.. Just people in general... the thing is, no one knows how good a player is going to be, so they project out based on ability? right? that is why I say guys like tyreke will always slip in the draft and guys like rose and wall will always go higher, because of that shock and awe factor.. Honestly, I wonder if wall will be any better than rose or mayo... both of which have shown they can really play at a high level...

i think u have a valid point... people always draft based on hype & explosive athleticism, it's true... but i've seen some real skills in John Wall's game... he's not just hops & fancy dunks... he's a lot more... the game they played vs. UNC he was really leading the team & they built up a nice lead at halftime... then he had to be taken out of the game cuz of cramps for a long stretch in the 2nd half & the Wildcats looked completely lost the rest of the game & their offense stagnated while UNC made a spirited comeback... Wall eventually came back into that game & they were able to stave off the onslaught & win a tight game in the closing seconds... after the game Roy Williams called Wall the best looking PG prospect to come out of HS since J Kidd... that's pretty damn high praise from a coaching legend.

"I recruited Jason Kidd after the '91 Final Four, so that's [18-19 years]," Williams said. "He's 6-4, he's got blazing speed and he's going to be a vicious defender. He will start stealing the ball two or three times a game. His biggest weakness is his outside shot. What's the easiest thing to change? Your outside shot."

The Tar Heels snuck out to a 9-2 advantage before Wall silenced the run with a dunk and a reserve-scoop layup to propel the Wildcats on a 28-2 run to take control in the first half.

"He's so athletic," Williams said. "I just think he has a sense of when to push it and he thinks like a point guard. He knows when to slow it down, to get them into a set. He's the best point guard since Jason."

I knew he was that good. And I don't think John Wall is in the same league.

Do winners ever really describe themselves as winners?
Do classy people ever really describe themselves as classy?

How many girls are really hot without makeup?
Will the world end in 2012?

Is hubris self-negating?

Watch this kid in the future--Elliot Williams--he's going to be better than Wall. He can play PG @ 6-4 and he can shoot--you dont need to win the lottery to get him.
