no way, no how. evans is unstoppable attacking right now. he is physically too strong going to the basket. you can't put a pg on him or a sg. once he gets that little jumper down, he is wade 2.0.
curry is nice but does not have the handles nor playmaking ability to be stve nash. could be a nice little player but no way he will make as big an impact as evans. i mean 20/5/5 as a rookie - only 3 others before him.
It really depends DJ. We can say "He has to develop a jumpshot" or "He has to develop handle" until the cows come home, but this is the current truth: Evans completely relies on driving, and Curry relies on shooting. Both can fall back to the other. If either of them can become more accustomed to the other, it will be over. Both are equally likely to happen. Ball handling and shooting are skills you develop and can develop with practice. I'm pretty sure both players will be working on both.
My thing is this. What if either player DOESN'T develop either of those things. My thought is Curry will be better off. A shorter Reggie Miller will strike much more fear into teams than a Stephon Marbury with no jumpshot.
