New York trades: Travis Knight $3,600,000
New York trades: Howard Eisley $4,781,250
TOTAL: $8,381,250

Golden State trades: Marc Jackson $3,250,000
Golden State trades: Bob Sura $4,913,334
TOTAL: $8,163,334

TRADE ACCEPTED

Due to New York and Golden State being over the cap, the 15% trade rule is invoked. New York and Golden State had to be no more than 115% plus $100,000 of the salary given out for the trade to be accepted, which did happen here. This trade satisfies the provisions of the Collective Bargaining Agreement.

This would give us a line up of:

Center: Camby
Backup: Marc Jax, Spencer 'for hire'

PowerF: KT
Backups: Harrington/Weatherspoon

SmallF: Spree
Backups: Anderson/Postell

Scorin'G: Houston
Backups: Anderson/Bobby S./Larry Rob

PointG: Mark Jax
Backups: Ward, Darrick Martin or the Roly Poly from UConn (El Amin) - whichever the Mavs cut and we can sign.

Deep at all 3 spots. Just the way I like it. and I see a playing rotation of 8 or 9 still...

C&PF: Camby,KT,MarcJax (Weatherspoon+Harrington as the need arises)
SF&SG: Spree,Houston,Anderson
PG: MarkJax,Ward

Second one is better, but I don't know how eager the Warriors will be to make a second trade after doing this one...

Stephen A. Smith of the Inquirer reports that the trade has been finalized. The Sixers have reached an agreement to acquire forward Derrick Coleman from the Charlotte Hornets in a three-team blockbuster deal.

The Sixers have reached an agreement to acquire forward Derrick Coleman from the Charlotte Hornets in a three-team blockbuster deal.

The Sixers will send 6-foot-7 forward Cedric Henderson and a future first-round draft pick to the Golden State Warriors, and 6-8 forward George Lynch, 6-10 forward Jerome Moiso and 6-8 forward/center Robert "Tractor" Traylor to Charlotte.

In addition to Coleman, a 6-10 forward who played for the Sixers from 1995 to 1998, the Sixers receive 6-10 center/forward Corie Blount and 6-3 guard Vonteego Cummings from the Warriors.

Golden State will send forward Chris Porter to Charlotte and receives cash from the Hornets.

I think that the front court glut is still huge and don't fool yourself, Marc Jax hates the GS Warriors.
They retained the big boy to trade him, that simple. And Eisley is a legit PG...

This is what's probably gonna happen -
The INJURY PLAGUE will strike GS yet AGAIN, with FORTSON's foot giving out and/or Richardson/Hughes going down...

and they'll need backcourt help that's more than a quick fix. and we've got that.

their new lineup
PG:Eisley
SG:Hughes
SF:Richardson
PF:Jamison
C: Dampier/Foyle
