Talk about stepping up when a star is out. Last 6gms without Paul he's averaging 18/9.5 shooting 45%fg and 41%fg(3pt).

I was just about to post this! He had a very nice game tonight. 27 points, 9 assists and 4 steals in 46 minutes.

You should get that checked out bro. Don't be a hero.

lol @ being BANNED by Martin since 11/07/10 (for asking if Mr. Earl had a point). Really, Martin? C'mon. This is the internet. I've seen much worse on this site. By Earl himself. Drop the hypocrisy.

I didn't think Darren Collison was gonna be a good distributer...I'm eating crow now. His game has seriously evolved. I don't remember him playing this way in college. With every game he plays well...the rumors will grow. Reminds me of Mark Price and Kevin Johnson. Two bonified starters...when Paul comes back you can't just throw Collison to the bench. Something has got to give with that eventually.

He looks very good. Walsh couldn't have missed on another point guard could he? I guess if you give Chris Duhon 10 million you can. When is Obama going to call out his good buddy to give his pay check back. Next year will be a blessing watching a guard actually take a wide open lay up.

You could have put any pg in the drafts name on a board and thrown a dart at the board and ended up with a quality pg prospect, and the Knicks manage to miss out on all of them.

Everyone laughs at Kahn. But one thing most GMs don't understand is that if you're not going to make the playoffs there is no need to overpay someone. Sure he could have added another nice piece to his roster, but he did secure a value pick in Rubio that is going to grow in value while not improving his team. Which makes the most sense for them because they need multiple parts and the worse they do the better there lottery selection. And at any point he can swing a deal with Rubio or Flynn with one of his bigs for a star player to go with a quility point guard and a quality big along with a draft pick.

It's amazing that walsh couldn't have upgraded our most glaring need in the draft for the most point guard heavy class in years.

i don't blame Walsh for taking Jordan Hill if he didn't think Jennings wasn't going to be a good fit for MDA & this system... he probably didn't have any of the other PG prospects taken after #8 ranked anywhere near the lottery, & maybe couldn't work out any trades to move down to take someone like Lawson, Holiday or Collison... sucks we had to settle for a combo G tho w/the late 1st rounder we bought... if NO or a team that picked just above them had been willing to sell their pick to us instead of the Lakers then there's definitely something to be upset over, but no way to really know if that had been the case now... obviously Walsh isn't gonna own up to anything like that either way.

If Collison proves that he can play at this level for an entire season, then the Hornets will have to eventually trade one of the them. Most teams, including the Knicks, would give you half a team for a quality pg. If they are smart, the Hornets should be able to set themselves up nicely with a future trade.

I missed your comment Enyspree. I totally agree. Too many good point guards is a good problem to have.

props for admitting a past mistake. we should start a thread with biggest missed calls on players we've had.

i loved me frank williams. now out of the league. oh well.

also thought darko could at least block shots, rebound and defend.

Let's try to elevate the level of discourse in this byeetch. Please

might be fools gold, we'll see what happens once defenses start adjusting to him.

Or perhaps thats just me being salty and hating. You know, hating on a team that has a young, back up PG thats roughly 3498798 times better than our starter who is getting paid 6 million dollars.

Saw him for the first time too on TNT and, while he's a bit thin, he has great basketball instincts and IQ. A silver lining is this almost assuredly going to put either Collison or CP3 on the market.

The kid dropped 20ast tonight on a board favorite Stephanie.

Did we work him out at all even in street clothes? Did we go see any of his workouts even if he was just playing horse in street clothes in a gym? What about his college videos or even high school videos with him just sitting the bench?

He dribbles a lil too much and his jumper still needs work, but damn what a pick by the Hornets. I'm tired of being so jealous about everyone else's talent
