He's the real deal , he's a transfer from Iowa st, he can do it all by scoring , blocking shots, reb he can play over the rim. All he needs is more strength and better handle. Top 3 in the upcoming draft and guess what, we won't have a chance at him
JAMES DOLAN on Isiah : He's a good friend of mine and of the organization and I will continue to solicit his views. He will always have strong ties to me and the team.

Watched most of the Cuse games this year and he's a championship level player, but in a Marion/Jeff Green/Caron Butler way, not in a lead player type of way.
He plays team ball, but not because he has to, it's because he knows how to win. Put him on the right team and he's going to win rings. Alan Hahn:
Nate Robinson has been on a ridonkulous scoring tear lately (remember when he couldn't hit Jerome James with a Big Mac in early January?)

I use the draft sites as a sort of index of "who to watch" but I try to avoid forming opinions off of YouTube mixtapes DLeethal wrote:

The guy I'm interested in is Donatas Motiejunas... I've heard his name for a few years now. I'm curious if he's actually good or just another Chad Ford/internet fanboy mancrush

I'm curious if he's actually good or just another Chad Ford/internet fanboy mancrush i was watching a few YouTube clips on him last nite... like u i don't think u can accurately assess talent based on those highlight reels, but the guy does look like he's got game... really fluid & surprisingly quick for a guy his height... almost reminds me of Dirk... i know there's a new Euro prospect every year that inspires Dirk comparisons but this guy does resemble him in some ways, especially when he puts the ball on the floor & shoots that turn around fade away in the post. I'm curious if he's actually good or just another Chad Ford/internet fanboy mancrush Yep... the difference between Donatas and the other Dirk comparisons is I've heard "Donatas Motiejunas" repeatedly over the past few seasons. And we've seen it to varying degrees in previous drafts--guys like Chase Budinger and Nicolas Batum, whose names are repeated over and over, are good NBA players. The difference with Donatas is he's a guy that everyone seems to think is a top-5 pipck, or better. So, I'm interested in him and how he does, because with him it isn't The Euro Flavor of the Week. He's been on the radar for a while. DLeethal wrote:

Wesley Johnson is tremendous talent that does everything well but no one thing great at this point. Seems to blend in with the offense and disappear for stretches. Still a top 5 prospect. Personally, I think Evan Turner get a slight nod over Johnson at this point.

Turner doesn't excite me for some reason. Reminds me of some of the combo guards on NBA teams that score a lot but don't win (Ellis,Martin). If I'm the Utah Jazz, then I take Johnson or one of the bigs, but if I'm the Knicks, I take Wall. It really depends on your need. Wall is being made out to be a better Rose, but Rose has a lot of toughness that would be hard for Wall to match. I'd really have to see him do it against the BigEast and Big12 teams in the tourney.
