i know they won't add salary for this summer, but i fully expect them to add max contracts this offseason so adding money won't be an issue after the offseason passes... we'd still have the cap space to add a max FA w/this trade & we'd gain a top lottery pick to take a future potential star... while i think J Hill & Wilson are good young players, i dunno if either of them will either be a star at the NBA level... having a pick in this year's lottery brings us a star calibre talent & combine that w/whatever we get in free agency & we could be setting our franchise up for a bright future, even with Brand's albatross contract on our books... just thought i'd pose it up for discussion... i doubt Walsh would make a trade like this too.

tell u the truth i'm more attracted to their draft pick than anyone they have on their roster... the price to pay to get that pick would be to take their worst contract off their hands... the way i'm doing it u don't lose any cap space for this summer to sign a max FA... i was actually thinking of putting up that trade idea you just suggested but the draft pick was a lot more appealing... the more i watch guys like Wall, Turner, Favors & Cousins, the more i think we need to try & think of ways to get a top pick in this year's lottery.

but i wouldn't be opposed to trading Hill to get a mid-lottery pick from another team either like u suggested... even if we don't get lucky in the lottery & land a top 3 slot, i really think a guy like Cousins would be a God send to this team & be the answer to our needs at the C position... i've liked J Hill from the start but i see him more as a solution at the PF position & looks to me like there's a fairly good chance we re-sign D Lee to an extension this offseason.

But they are giving us Iguodala for CHandler and Hill. In their mind, that is going to be all the compensation we need. Philly's GM would have to be brain dead to trade their pick when they could get John Wall. If I am Philly, I start tanking now.

In fact, the perfect plan for Philly would be to trade Dalembert and Iguodala to us for CHandler, Hill, CUrry, and Jeffries and $3 mill. Then trade Brand to Washington for Gilbert Arneas and $3 mill (I know Arneas has a terrible contract, but so does Brand and Philly will already have like 3 young PF prospects). They then go into the draft and either get John Wall and move Arneas to 2 guard or get Cousins or one of the other PF prospects. They then would have Curry, Hill, Spreights, and their draft pick to act as C/PF, with Arneas and Chandler on the wings.
