Blatche is their star in waiting which is why they are willing to move butler and/or jamison (it also helps them financialy, I know). Blatche and Maureese Speights are two big time stars waiting to burst out if their teams move the current starter. I do not see Cle getting jamison for Ilgauskas straight up. Cle would have to throw something else in, no?

Blatche is no star. I like him a lot, but he's a 7 foot Rashard Lewis without the outside shot

With the uncertainty surrounding whether Lebron is coming back Cleavland's GM would be risking their job if they were to include a 1st round draft pick in a trade. Not saying that it would be included in this trade, but can you imagine the pitchforks coming out if Lebron leaves and they dont have a pick?

Check the numbers he was putting up when Jamison was out. They looked a lot like D Lee's, and if he's a star, then Blatche may be one in the waiting...

I don't think the numbers work out.
May have to include Curry and Odom.

if we include our 2nd rounders & keep featuring our impact players we might have a shot.

The Lakers might do that, I have no idea why would. We get raped on that trade, from talent point of view.

Blatch was fined by the commish for participating in Arenas dumb mid court skit. Pretending to be shot at mid court and laughing.

Wouldn't one be a bit tramatized by getting shot and think that would not be funny?

Blatch by now would be more than a bit role player if he was going to show anything.

Blatche isn't a star or anything but he's pretty much what we wish Jonathan Bender could be for our team... he can produce off the bench at least.

Dudes, when Blatche gets minutes, he produces. Let's look at his numbers for the beginning of the season when he was starting with Jamison out. He averaged just under a double double with about 2 blks per game...sounds a bit like D Lee, with higher block totals and lowers assists...maybe he's not a star, but he's behind Caron Butler, Jamison, and Haywood...so hard for him to get minutes. He would start if he was on the Knicks for shizzle

Miami Heat president Pat Riley has emerged as one of the most determined pursuers of Phoenix Suns forward Amar’e Stoudemire(notes), proposing several different packages that make available any of his players short of Dwyane Wade(notes), league sources told Yahoo! Sports.

The Heat have discussed several scenarios with the Suns, including packages that include combinations of young players (Michael Beasley(notes), Dorell Wright(notes)) and expiring contracts (Jermaine O’Neal(notes) and Quentin Richardson(notes)). The Heat are also willing to part with their 2010 first-round draft pick.

”Nobody is pushing harder on this than Riley,” one league source said.

The Suns are believed to be in discussions with as many as six teams, although more may yet show themselves before the Feb. 18 trade deadline. The Philadelphia 76ers remain involved, but have rejected the Suns’ attempts to attach guard Jason Richardson(notes) to a larger package that would include Samuel Dalembert(notes) and Andre Iguodala(notes).

If Miami can get Amare going into this summer, assuming Beasley is traded, they would have the ability to sign one more near max deal. Rudy Gay as a Beasley replacement would be SICK. Obviously the rest of the team would be filled out with scrubs but who cares when you have guys that can run, gun, AND finish around the rim.
