jefferies and maybe one of our second rounders for Augustine, Law, and another filler or their trade exception from the Raja Bell deal. What a trade that would be for us. Augustine isn't the definite answer at the point yet, but he fits for the long term. This would definitely give us enough money to resign Lee and have room to get our max FA plus maybe a little more leverage. And although Jefferies is somewhat similar to Diaw, this is one of the teams he makes the most sense going to. I hope something along these lines happens, it would be ideal.

Charlotte is about to get sold and usually taking on contacts is out of the question.

BUT, Charlotte really needs to keep winning and make the playoffs.

Bitch ass Larry has done a fine job turning that team around.

That would be a great trade for us. I know D.J. Augustin is having a down year and has declined from his rookie season but he's very talented and still very young.

They are trying to sell the team. They aren't taking salary for expirings.

Depends whether or not Jordan matches the sale. Jordan's group has right of first refusal so if someone makes a bid, he can match. if he matches, he's already installed in a management capacity. I agree with you--just with the caveat of if Jordan and his people have cash

im hearing the group jordan has will not be able to match what postolos and his investors are putting on the table. surious to see the economics of this. if prokhorov was able to but 80% ownership of the nets for $200 million plus some debt assumption, what tag will the bobcats merit? johnson bought the team for $300m and the present ownership group is still $100m in the hole debtwise.

bottom line, with detroit up for potential sale and maybe add the wiz to the mix w the death of abe, this is not a good time to be trying to sell your nba franchise.

boy, i wish i had these problems.....
