they need size, already have Rose in place, we get an immediate upgrade at PG on both ends, doesnt hurt us for next year

Hinrich contract is terrible so trading for him won't happen.
This year he makes $9.5 mil
2010 $9 million
2011 $8 million

A good trade would be JJ for Mike James(expiring) who makes exactly what JJ makes this year = $6.466

Fishmike , I'm down for that. Let's see if Duhon has held back Danphoney's system from running on all cylinders.

Duhon is gone after this year. No way we should make a lateral move this season unless it involves moving a bad contract (i.e., JJ or Curry). Mike James and Heinrich are both upgrades, but not necessarily keepers. Besides, if we land Lebron, we need to get different players than if we don't land him. Wouldn't make sense to tinker too much this season unless it's a sure thing.

chicago wants cap room for heinrich, just like we want cap room for jeffries. neither is likely to happen.

I really like Hinrich, but the above poster is right... we get screwed by Chicago every time! Hinrich would actually work well with Lebron though as he's a good defender and can shoot..
Rose is not the answer.

A MIke James for JJ trade should help if Hill is ready to step into JJ's defensive role. I don't think Hinrich would help enough to justify taking on the remaining years of his contract.

Hienrich for Eddie Curry would be the only thing I would do.
They get 8 Million in cap relief on that final year and we get some production out of that salary hold .
