I didn't wanna be the first to say it...God only knows that is crazy talk.

Chris Paul is a BYC player anyway...I'm still not clear on how that works but I believe the Knicks have to trade a guy with 3 years left on their contracts...Jordan Hill and Toney Douglas are the only ones that fit that bill and they make 1/4th of his salary combined.

I doubt they trade him now...but its a drama that the Knicks should pay attention to. New Orleans has been crying broke since they were in Charlotte. They may look to cut cap again...Collison is proving to be a true lead guard in this NBA. If they feel confident in him next season as well then a Paul trade is logical.

Well look at it this way, with CP3 playing, he's the best option on offense, the high focus on defense

Without CP3 playing, the options on offense are more spread and the defense doesn't double team or concentrate on Collison.

If paul leaves who will draw the people ?

JAMES DOLAN on Isiah : He's a good friend of mine and of the organization and I will continue to solicit his views. He will always have strong ties to me and the team.

Never doubt George Shinn as a man who will trade his star players. Trading LJ with a monster contract and bad back is one thing, Trading Alonzo cuz he can't afford two max deals (with LJ) was somthing he had to do.

But we don't have the tools to trade for him. PLaya is right, they need a draw franchise player to build with on and off the court. Nate is a great mascot type player. Hornets did well with Mugsey Bogues as the novalty type player.

CP3 would look good next to Lebron!

I agree with playa. Collison would be a much much better piece to trade as long as he doesn't come down to earth.

Eny you do gotta start setting your line ups bro!

I would give it strong consideration given the weak crop of point guards in the upcoming draft. But it's probably still too early to think about it. I remember the Phoenix Suns used to have a young, back-up point guard in the early 90s named Negele Knight who used to look like a future hall of famer whenever KJ got injured, but he never amounted to anything after he was traded.

It just bums me out that Jennings, Lawson, Collison, Holliday, Maynor and A.J. Price have shown potential as playmakers from the 2009 draft and we weren't able to grab any of them. Not that Douglas hasn't shown any potential, but his playmaking needs work.

Always... always remember: Less is less. More is more. More is better and twice as much is good too. Not enough is bad, and too much is never enough except when it's just about right. - The Tick

Their QB goes down and they don't miss a beat. I guess their offensive line should get more credit than it does.
lol @ being BANNED by Martin since 11/07/10 (for asking if Mr. Earl had a point). Really, Martin? C'mon. This is the internet. I've seen much worse on this site. By Earl himself. Drop the hypocrisy.
Not for nothing...but the Hornets haven't missed a beat with Collison
