The Bulls traded center Aaron Gray to the Hornets on Monday, which could pave the way for Jerome James to play some minutes.

James is relatively healthy after recovering from a torn Achilles tendon.

Mike McGraw of the Herald writes that, "[James] was still preparing to pass one last fitness test to gain clearance to play."

James has only appeared in four games since the start of the 2007-08 season.

What's the over/under for Jerome to re-injure himself within his first five minutes of playing time? Anyone? /s

He's the master, although he has trained a worthy successor in Eddy Curry.
