thought the Jets were gonna pull of the shocker for a second there, but Peyton Manning showed why he's the MVP of this league in the 2nd half... some of the throws he was making were unbelievable... nothing to hang your heads about Jet fans, your team did you proud this year.

Shades of 2007 for Brett Favre. Huge INT late in the NFC championship game and the other team scores on a game winning field goal in OT... dude is so overrated.

Colts vs. Saints looks like a nice matchup.

Ah what a game. Saints survived the Vikings that beat themselves. Brett Favre with the ultimate bonehead move.

Too bad for my Jets. They gave us Jets fans a thrill in the 1st half (17-6) I was dreaming a little.

As far as the Vikes, they totally gave that game away. That game shouldn't have even been close. They left close to 17 points on the field. Farve had a lane to run about 5 yards and slide. I know his knee/ankle was hurting him, but dont try to force a pass in thier when you are in field goal range. But then again, thats Farve.

Manning plain figured out the Jets pass defense and the Colts defense figured out our offense.

Really nothing more there. I think the Jets made a couple of offensive mistakes that might have led to better things but unlikely enough to win. At best the Jets lose 30-27 I think given a couple of offensive errors I recall.

Yeah, Jets had a couple of injuries an D and overall pretty much had to play a flawless game to win. The Jets offense right now is too one-dimensional to go into Indy and grab a win.

This was one of those games where the offense had to pick up the slack and go out and put up 35 to win and the Jets are incapable of that. That defense had too much pressure on their shoulders after shutting down Cincy and San Diego.

The Jets are in a great position next year... New England lost its sparkle and New York has talent, plays geat defense, has a great rushing attack, and now believes they belong. I expect them to win the AFC East next year, assuming the don't botch FA or the draft

the jets can also finsih 500 next year...or worse. they played great footbal for the first month of the season and the last month. ability to sustain play in the middle of the season will be key next year. manning figured out the pass defense in 1 quarter last week. jets (actually ryan and company) need to get a bit more sophisticated w their play calling next year and mixing up sets b/c teams will have figured them out by then. i believe that the future rests on sanchez. he showed flashes this year, but nothing too great. understandable he was a rookie this year and, as many accounts have it, he overperformed. he needs to make the exception the rule next year and take over this team. if that happens, and they solve the running back problem, resign edwards, and maybe get some additional help in the secondary, then watch out for the green.

Saints have a better defense and defense wins the superbowl
JAMES DOLAN on Isiah : He's a good friend of mine and of the organization and I will continue to solicit his views. He will always have strong ties to me and the team.

That was a good game. Bold call by Sean Payton on the onsides kick basically changed the entire outcome of the game. Everyone was shocked at that call and the Colts never were the same afterward. Saints did a great job on time of possesion and the Colts just never had a opportunity to get going after that first quarter. Dream season for the Saints. Brees and Payton and the crew deserve a ton of credit.

Now wait till next year when the Giants win the Super Bowl in Dallas :)

Reggie Wayne's fault.

lol @ being BANNED by Martin since 11/07/10 (for asking if Mr. Earl had a point). Really, Martin? C'mon. This is the internet. I've seen much worse on this site. By Earl himself. Drop the hypocrisy.

looks like they're trying to get all the big name bands before they die.

who's left that is popolar enough to do the super bowl? maybe a police reunion?
