This guy is amazing. He has had micro fracture surgery on both knees and not only is still playing but is having one of the best years in his career. I thought he was done.

Denver also boast a great strength and conditioning coach .
JAMES DOLAN on Isiah : He's a good friend of mine and of the organization and I will continue to solicit his views. He will always have strong ties to me and the team.

I think Kmart is finally in situation that fits with his skill set. The more he can focus on getting rebounds and finishing close to the hoop, the better. I still wouldn't want to take on that contract...unless Denver wanted to switch him for Eddy Curry

Are we still talking about KMart?
Sheeit, I remember debating with TMS about trading one of our contracts for him YEARS ago after his first Micro Fracture. Can't even remember the proposed trade.

12 9 and 1 is amazing? Really? For the type of money that he is getting paid? It is still one of the worst contracts ever.
A glimmer of hope maybe?!?

it was Zach for KMart or Curry for KMart, but this was when Curry wasn't on the shelf w/an injury... i've proposed both those trades in the past because of our hopelessly capped out to oblivion situation... never thought Donnie would be able to trade away Zach's contract like he did... figured KMart would at least bring some shotblocking & defense.

amazing considering the circumstances... obviously he's highly overpaid, but take a look at what Michael Redd is putting up for MIL, or T-Mac isn't putting up for HOU, or Eddy Curry for us.

Absolutely. He always struck me as a cat with a ton of heart, even early in his career.

Micro fracture surgery often ends careers or guys come back and are no where near what they were prior to the surgery. Martin has had this surgery on both of his knees and his game was based on athleticism. I think it is amazing he is even playing.

J Kidd obviously inflated his numbers- and I think many here thought as much when Martin got signed.

I think the lesson we should take is whether and how much to sign Lee. Don't be afraid to lose him for nothing or little. Keeping him could be far worse.

Players after age 25 man, it's all downhill.
lol @ being BANNED by Martin since 11/07/10 (for asking if Mr. Earl had a point). Really, Martin? C'mon. This is the internet. I've seen much worse on this site. By Earl himself. Drop the hypocrisy.

But just putting your theory in a vacuum, you say Martin's profile was enhanced by playing with an elite, first ballot, HOF, PG...Well, who the hell has Lee had to play with? A mentally unstable, me first, Stephon Marbury and Chris Duhon a really solid, Division 2 level PG.

I should add that it was Kidd and the system- its the system here that has helped Lee's numbers.
