For long time I thought this team needed 2 pieces, PG and C. After watching Hill last few games, I think we got MDA's C in Hill, all we need is a PG.
Hill is active, mobile, can play some D, rebound, has a nice looking J. If he can add few more pounds, he is a legit center in this league.
Add any pure PG besides Duhon and this team is at or near .500, no question in my mind. DJ Augustine, Blake, Felton, or any other decent Pg and this is playoff team, Lebron or no Lebron. Add Lebron and few role players and it is a championship team for years to come.

Jordan Hill played like a lottery pick last night. 8 points and 7 boards in ten minutes. He just needs more experience and some bulk. He'll be a starting player on this club.

3 games in a row where he has done some positive things. Lots of action around the basket yesterday, and in one of the other games he was hitting his J. He did not get pushed around in the post by Gasol- I would have liked to see him up against Bynum for an extended period of time.

It would be nice if we had a guy down low who we did not have to protect with the zone that LA busted up yesterday.

Hill is developing nicely. He looks more confident and involved. Man I wish we had a better PG situation. You can see why DW was trying to get these kids a vet PG to direct them. I just don't know who we could get to help at this point.

Hill sure looked like he can play.

One issue I have with him is that he seems to have trouble holding on to the ball - off of rebounds and in general, does he have small hands or something, anybody know?

As far as a PG, Duhon sucks, but he is till the only guy capable of running a team we have. The flow stops with Hughes, Nate, or TD for that matter. We really need a decent PG, better 2 of them.

A glimmer of hope maybe?!?

i agree w/u that this team will be at or near .500 if we just upgrade the PG position w/or w/o Lebron, but in order for us to become a championship team for years to come we'll need to add another superstar player along w/Lebron... either that or someone like Lee needs to keep improving & start playing defense, or Gallo needs to develop & become more consistent on both ends of the floor & fulfill his star potential... we won't win championships with just Lebron & a supporting cast of second tier talent.

Hill averaged about the same amount of TO's last year as D Lee did his last year at FLA... i think just not seeing regular playing time is the main reason he's looked a little out of sorts at times, he's playing on adrenaline & trying to maximize every second he has out on the floor... main thing is he keeps working hard & being active on both ends of the floor in the paint... hopefully he's convinced the coaching staff by now that he belongs out there on the floor on a nightly basis.
