Moochie Norris, who will get to face the Rockets Thursday, credits Van Gundy for getting him back into shape. But he acknowledged Van Gundy’s offense "didn’t take enough chances" in running the fastbreak. Didn't Gundy say Knicks couldn't run the fast break because of sloppy ball handling ? Houston has ball handlers don't they? Vandummy is a control freak and in the west he will get no respect with it.

"It was totally different," said Norris, who played in Houston for four seasons. "Jeff has his system. But I’m glad he ran me to death. I was over 220 [pounds]. Now I’m 183, back in the best shape of my life. I can’t wait to play them." YEA MOOCHIE Grill'em

JAMES DOLAN on Isiah : He's a good friend of mine and of the organization and I will continue to solicit his views. He will always have strong ties to me and the team.

Playa, just because you personally don't like JVG doesn't mean the Knicks will get a W. Houston is a better team hands down - even you have to admit that one.

If the knicks beat Houston they have beaten a real contender. I cannot wait. I like Van Gundy a lot but as Rocket playing the knicks I hope his schemes get exposed. Lets hope KVH stays hot.

playa: First off when will I get the money I gave you last week? It's taking too long. I want my money back.

Second: Don Chaney is an excellent coach, one of the best in the league and he could, based on his superior offensives and defensives schemes beat the Lakers, Spurs, Mavs, T'Wolves, Kings, Indiana, Detroit, New Jersey, New Orleans, Florida Marlins and the San Francisco 49's.

JVG is slowing the team down because of his personnel. You can't expect Yao to run all game long.

I also can't wait for the Houston game, but more as a barometer of where we are at.

Oasis just because you still luv vg doesn't mean because Yao Ming is 7'6 that they will beat the knicks.

Ok, so who brought JVG up this time?

Best Shape of his life? Not a criticism just an observation on JVG's system. So what? We have known for years that JVg plays a slow tempo. The Knicks did not have players to run under him and they still dont except for Fwill and Shandon.

We get it, Playa you hate the guy and his style of ball. We also get that you have preferred the losing style of Chaney for the last 2 years. We also get that you seem to not understand that when the playoffs come, DEFENSE and HALF court Offense wins.

Predictable half court sets that Gundy uses on offense won't work in the west in come playoff time. The Miami Heat won't be there. LOL

Let's be fair to JVG. He is a great defensive coach who motivated his players to give it all every game. But that's all he is. He never had a clue about creating an offense that works. He never had a clue about using a PG either, maybe because he never had one. His style of play was perfect for the Ewing Knicks. He almost took us to the title but ultimately he lacked the 3pt shooting needed for the half court dump it in and swing it around for an open look offensive set he ran 90% of the time with Ewing or later with LJ, or later with Spree and Houston. For once playa is right in saying that Moochie's numbers might be better away from JVG, I would at least give him a chance, the same chance we gave bums like Anderson, Spoon, and Eisly to prove themselves. I don't know about you but I gave them a few games before concluding that they are bums. So give Norris a chance, aight.
A glimmer of hope maybe?!?

Moochie was playing behind steve francis. His numbers would have suffered no matter who the coach. He is only playing 3 less minutes than he played last year.

We'll give him a chance but IMO Moochie is not gonna be a Knick for long. Nahinanajat.

yeah I really dont like the idea of getting rid of ward and having him as our back up PG. maybe play him @ SG for a few minutes and bury Eisely on the bench.
