If Knicks preserve their cap space, they can offer instant cap relief + JJ/Curry's expiring contracts and absorb NOH's long-term contracts like Okafor or Stojakovic, which the Hornets will certainly want to do if they're getting rid of Chris Paul. No other team will really be in a situation to take on that much additional salary while saving NOH that much money. We can also throw in future firsts and youth like Hill or Douglas. It's pretty much the Marbury trade Part II, but for a more legitimate superstar.
Of course, that all depends on Paul demanding out of NOH in 2011, which could happen if NOH dovetails again and misses the playoffs.
