Yea, thought it was funny that Dwight Howard isn't participating because he thinks he's too old at 24. Nate's 25.

But hey, what else is he going to do? He is in the spotlight which I think feeds his ego much more than being a part of this team. And a New York jersey gets some All-Star wkend air time.

Maybe he can wear a Latin night "Nueva York" jersey and jump over the tallest NY Liberty player dressed up as Lady Lib herself.

Then Will Ferrell & him can host an after-party that will probably be the bomb!

I thought Nate said that after last year he was done? He kind of needs to do it to keep his popularity up. He is an FA this year.

Add this to the list of events I am NOT watching on All-Star weekend, right along with the game, the shootout, the skills, and whatever else the **** they want to peddle. I'd rather watch the All-NBA team on paper, staring at the list on a print out for half an hour.

No one is criticizing him if it was only his participation in the dunk contest. But if you consider the recent events, it might go over easier on sensible fans if he politely declined.

Dunk contest was played out in '89. There are only a handful of genuine ways to dunk a basketball. It's physics. You got like 10 feet between rim and floor. You got gravity. I don't need to explain in detail, you get drift.

Need I remind you all that D. Howard won this thing on a NON-DUNK!!! His hand never touched the rim!!! What's next, maybe I bounce ball off floor and swipe at the net and it is dunk?? Come on, give break to me, get the heck out of town!!~

Its comical how much some cats around here loathe Nate and are always chomping at the bit to criticize him...Makes them look a lil petty if you ask me.
