The Knicks were at least giving the impression they were gonna do it with Weatherspoon, why not Eisely who would be owed about 1.5 mill more than Weatherspoon's contract . Of course we would have to incorporate the buyout of Amechi, but look at the end of the year tax write off Dolon would have. So in essence this could be a smart business move.
Also most importantly from a basketball point of view this would open up roster spaces for Lampe and Leon Smith, if he signs.
