Knicks have no guard (Don't call Chandler a true SG) whom can stop or cause havoc for
other Guards. Chandler is asked to play multiple spots and despite Wes good play he
cant cover for everyone of the knick flaws in backcourt.

Raptors always give knicks fits.
It would be nice to have some defensive presence at SG or PG

Too bad we got no 2010 DRAFT picks this yr

maybe if we actually played our defensive guards off the bench it may help? just a wild grasp at straws here.
After 7 years & 40K+ posts, banned by martin for calling Nalod a 'moron'. Awesome.

Duhon hit his dead end date.
Dont get me wrong he sucks all season.
But now he is finished. I think you can get a bunch of guys from NY playgrounds and they will play better. At leats they will try to make a layup.
Nate is just a midget. He looks like a gnom tonight. Gnom running form the Raptors.

Are Hughes and Douglas too busy being respected by D'Antoni to help out? I feel sorry for Hughes and Darko because they are the only expirings not playing ahead of the Knicks 2010 first round picks.

Man don't feel sorry for those guys!!! They're getting paid VERY well to sit there. Truth is the answer to our problems isn't on the roster. Maybe we get lucky and TD shows some fast improvement as a PG. Maybe we catch a break and Hughes plays great for a few weeks. Still the thing is that none of these guys can get it done for a long duration and we'll eventually get exposed.

I'm really wondering what it would take to get a deal done with G.S. for one of their guards? What kind of package could we put together to get an Ellis, CJ Watson or heck even Morrow?

Why are we sweating guard play? Duhon is on a 2 yr window and we are gearing things up for Lebron James. This kind of thinking has no real concrete vision for the future. Our draft pick should be playing or starting and we have neither. Let danphoney and Walsh keep passing out roses, the problem is nobody is smelling them.
JAMES DOLAN on Isiah : He's a good friend of mine and of the organization and I will continue to solicit his views. He will always have strong ties to me and the team.

MDA's unwillingness to change his rotation is frustrating. I would have inserted Hughes to guard Calderon in the second half, and I would have made the switch from Lee to Gallo on Bosh much sooner. I think those moves would have given us a better chance of winning yesterday.

MDA does not believe in giving token minutes to vets, plus nate and dougie are completely inept at running the offense. Even if we lapse on the defensive end the offense hasn't been potent enough to over come it. Larry hughs was not playing well enough on D to over come his total lack of offense. Douglas is a energy guy that does nothing well for long stretches.

So what is he suppose to do.

our guards are all bench players on almost every half decent NBA team.
Let's try to elevate the level of discourse in this byeetch. Please

Hughes was hurt and getting back into the flow. As we saw with Chandler, it sometimes takes a player awhile to recover from injury. Hughes' offense would have been no worse than Duhons, plus he would have played better defense on Calderon. IMO the solution was simple. Put Hughes in and try to jolt the team's defense.
