Ok. Anthony Randolph is going to be out 2 months with an ankle injury and it seems Don Nelson doesn't seem to know what to do with the kid while healthy either, so is it possible to trade for injured players? I think right now AR's value is as low as it's going to ever be and if we could send them a useful player I think Nelson would be interested in trading. I think Jordan Hill seems to fit what Nelson wants to do and I would do the trade straight up, if the Warriors sent us back a draft pick since we are getting an injured player.

Thoughts?

I don't know if you can trade them, because how would they pass a team physical?

J. Hill for A. Randolph, straight up? If they are silly enough to do that, you do it in a second! A. Randolph is going to be a beast once his ankle is healed.

I would take on the rest of Maggette's contract to get the kid. Eddy/Hill/Douglas for Corey and AR. Not likely they would do it but they save money in the long run and we get someone that can replace Harrington's bench scoring and a nice young prospect.

You can trade for injured players with the team receiving the player waiving the physical.

Thats what I thought, thanks Andrew.

I'm pretty sure GS was high on Hill going into the draft, but when Curry was available, they said they couldn't pass on him. I'd do whatever it takes to get Randolph, I think he fits in better here with MikeD and I think Jordan Hill fits in better with Nelson. It's something that should be explored.

I still have doubts as to whether Randolph has more potential than Hill, but if GS threw in a draft pick, I would do the trade.

i think your doubts are valid, but man, just judging from this guys talent and some of the statlines he's put up so far, i think he just needs a more consistent work environment. don nelson is a nut and kills young players with the constant back and forth. he should either play them or don't play them instead of jerking them around - i think d'antoni would immediately have AR in the rotation and that it wouldn't take long to have him starting at PF or C.
