2 blocks 2 steals in 30 minutes. It's a different ball game when you have some space[Tim duncan got a rest] Boy could we have used a guy like this off the bench to spell Lee --much more so than a combo guard to be honest.

I'm going to make a post when a player I like has a good game once every 15 games as well.

Blair is a pretty good rookie...in 16 minutes per game he is averaging 6.5 points and 5.5 boards...he is not out there by himself, he is competing for those boards with very good rebounders like Duncan. He is also shooting 56 percent.

Blair is legit. He's like a machine. It isn't easy to produce playing spot minutes but he has shown the ability to step up when it is his turn. At only 20 years old he is pretty skilled and has room to grow as a player.

Good luck Mike D'Antoni, 'cause you ain't never seen nothing like this before!

Dejuan Blair does not have cartilage problems. He has absorbed his ACL which were replaced in a operation.

for some reason I thought it was that he didn't have any ACLs - ie no surgery to fix.

I guess he "absorbed them"?

Sounds like somthing Eddy would do if his body got hungry!

That sounds dangerous, I hope his body doesn't start absorbing other ligaments or tissue. Then he won't have a long career.

I know what your saying, but Blair doesnt really get a lot of consistent playing time given that Pop is averse to playing rookies. When he does get his minutes, duke produces.

I dunno, Blair puts up numbers but I can see why Walsh passed. I dont know how long one could depend on those knees of his. Jennings was the mistake. In hindsight, I would have liked to have seen us grab Chase Buddinger and Jennings. The argument against Blair is understandable.

Jennings scoring started of great, but has declined to the point of being extremely low. Month by month from October through January, his fg% has been 52, 42, 38 and 27%. His 3 pt shooting has similarly declined. His foul shooting has improved and his passing has been consistently good over this same period.

His shooting has gone down because he isn't getting clean looks anymore. Plus Michael Redd was getting his shots too. I also think it is fatigue because some of his shots are pure bricks now.
