With Samuel being from Haiti and having what happened our prayers should be with his family also. Tuesday David lost a grandfather that has give n over 50 million dollars to charity in Saint Louis over the years. His life after work was making things better for kids and the less fortunate. Hope David will have a huge game and then head to St. Louis for the funeral tomorrow.

Word. Condolences to David and prayers to all the peeps in Haiti. What a tragedy, only 18 months after those wicked hurricanes. Yikes.

Haiti is a disaster in every way possible. That was already a scary place.

In a note that will tell you a little about me...about a month ago my grandmother fell and broke her hip, she was in the hospital for about 3 weeks, and has been in rehab for about another 3 weeks.

Well, yesterday she was supposed to be landing in a plane in Haiti but instead she was safe in New York City. I am not religious, but it almost seems like divine intervention.

Meanwhile I have another relative who actually did land in Haiti yesterday, I am not sure how she is, communication is sparse.

This is a huge humanitarian disaster. Nobody can remember anything like this ever happening in that region. Hurricanes yes, earthquakes...no.

I urge everyone to donate whatever supplies they can, clothing, canned food, water. This is only going to get worse and Haiti needs every bit of help available.

Good luck Mike D'Antoni, 'cause you ain't never seen nothing like this before!
