Just looked at the Players who will be FA in 2011http://www.realgm.com/src_freeagents/2011/. And Al Horford and Mark Gasol stick out. However this year is going to end, with or without LeBron, I think Lee will be a part of our future. I think both are prototype complementary players for David. They would make up for his defensive shortcomings while beeing a threat on offense, too. And they would be Anti-Bynum/Howard Weapons in the playoffs. What kind of money would be necessary to sign one of them?

If we not dealt Jeffries and Curry, we could spend. Both are restricted in 2011, so we probably would need to overpay. Will Donnie do something like overpaying, even if it would bring in the last piece necessary for a champion?

Just thinking...

As much as I love DLee's offense, I think guys like Horford show some of his weaknesses. If I could trade Lee for Horford I would.
You know I gonna spin wit it

The plan was not to trade them. The plan was to get them together in our team.

But as far as trading goes. Yep, I would trade Lee for Horford in a second, not yet for Gasol I think (Not seen enough of him)

So, you are thinking a 2011 lineup of:

PG Lebron
SG Chandler
SF Gallo
PF Horford
C Lee

I could be on board with that... I'd really like to see Lee step up his defensive game though rather than try and cover his weaknesses with other players.

You know I gonna spin wit it

I doubt that will er happen. But if he did, I hope we have him signed to a long term deal before that happens. Otherwise he will be too expensive. Let's resign him while he still sucks on D!

If that's the case, we can take our time. He's always gonna suck on D.
