Is it me or does ever other player in the league have a mouth piece... like what's up with that..I'm not a big hockey fan but when I do check a game for a few I don't see a whole lot of players with mouth pieces.

I'm seeing players with mouth piece's that( al harrington, labron,) match there uniforms, how. ridiculous is that. What happaen to the Mj days when chewing gum was the thing to do. Maybe its something new that keeps your mouth from getting dry, but from where I'm sitting looks like another ridiculous trend

i dont think this is a direct fashion type of trend as much as its done for health reasons (helps prevent concussions, busted teeth, etc).

I think this keeps your teeth from being kicked out...
A lot of hockey players have nothing to protect already...

Didn't D. Lee do a faceplant this season? last season? and loose some teeth? This would protect that. But Al's habitual gnawing on his all the time can be distracting

Dude it's a good thing. I play with a mouthpiece too. It protects your teeth. It's a good trend, all placers should do it. Wearing a mouthpiece gives me more confidence to go all out on the court because my precious teeth are protected.
WE AIN'T NOWHERE WITH THIS BUM CHOKER IN CARMELO. GIVE ME STARKS'S 2-21 ANY DAY OVER THIS LACKLUSTER CLUSTEREFF.

If you grow up in the environment when you can be punched in the face on regular basis wear this thing became a second nature.

Maybe if Nate used a mouthpiece he wouldn't be so apt to run off at the mouth and get into problems. We should all chip in to buy him one.
