Durant is a great great player BUT Lebron could win 50 games playing with howard eisley, jerome james, shandon anderson, and lavor postell as his supporting cast.

OK maybe an exaggeration but Lebron makes his teammates look much better than they are. While Durant is a top 10 talent im not sure if he can compare to the King when it comes to making his teammates better.

I haven't watched a whole lot of Durant- but I suspect he's a better shooter and would probably average 40pts playing in this system.

If its not Bron now, it will be Melo next year for us.

And I agree with fishmike, in a few years Durant will be one of those players who could carry a team all the way by himself...

Durant is a star and already one of the best players in the league. Kobe, Wade, and Lebron are the only non centers you would take ahead of him. And that includes Melo.

Melo without chauncey is just a talented scorer that can't get out of the first round of the playoffs.

anyone check durants temperature recently, dude is sick. i think he's as good as lebron right now. I'd take in this order for building a team:

lebron
durant
kobe
wade
