With Harrington, Hughes and Mobley being valuable trade commodities to help improve the team for this year and the future, what did you think of the Harrington-less, Hughes-less Knicks last night?

Beautiful thing. Ill Wilson was really allowed to blossom and take over without Al crowding him out.
WE AIN'T NOWHERE WITH THIS BUM CHOKER IN CARMELO. GIVE ME STARKS'S 2-21 ANY DAY OVER THIS LACKLUSTER CLUSTEREFF.

i think both players have played a big role in the recent turn around... u can't take 1 game & say we're better off w/o them... Al can go off just like Nate can in any given game, & many times he's the only one on the floor w/the ability to get off his shot w/the clock winding down, which does tend to happen a lot... Larry brings a cool head on the floor & has done some good work in the P&R this year with Lee, & is more of an offensive threat than Duhon as well & i've found to be better at finding Gallo on the floor than either Duhon or Nate have done this year... he's also a stellar on ball defender & a patrols the passing lanes better than anyone else on this team.

IMO, we need both those guys to be a playoff contender this year, & if we ever do get into the playoffs i would hope both of them are in the rotation somehow... i wouldn't play Jonathan Bender in a postseason 8 man rotation.

C - Lee
PF - Fishlips
SF - Gallo
SG - Chandler
PG - Duhon
6 - Harrington
7 - Nate
8 - Hughes

The Evil MDA's conspiricy plan all along is to bring up the utes and reduce the emphisis of the bloated but talented under achievers we have as basically cap fodder.

Last Night to me encapsulated the problem with Nate. In crunch time he loses the ball, gets ofensive fouls and loses the moment. Duhan for his warts understands the game and was clutch last nite.

I liked the swagger Gallo showed. The kid is really coming along very nice.

I'm not trying to take anything away from either one of those guys. I knew Hughes was on the bench for the time being, but somehow I didn't even notice that Al wasn't in the game until I read the paper this morning

lol @ being BANNED by Martin since 11/07/10 (for asking if Mr. Earl had a point). Really, Martin? C'mon. This is the internet. I've seen much worse on this site. By Earl himself. Drop the hypocrisy.

Why would we trade useful players with expirings for an unproven TMac with expirings? Doesn't make any sense unless Donnie has an inkling that TMac can still produce (doubtful).

The only reason to move Larry or Al is to dump one of our cap-affecting contracts. Otherwise we keep those guys and push for the playoffs.

So what did you think of the Harrington/Hughes-les Knicks?
