Mike Miller
Javale Mcgee
for Cutino Mobley and number 1 pick in 2012 top 10 restriction and one of our 2s this year

They save several million and get a 1+2 for guys they dont use.

miller has been used by the blizzard FO as one of the guys who when healthy will help them out of this current awful play. i see no way they give up JM for this. they would face a riot from their fanbase. those folks already are mad he doesnt play, and giving him up for basically nothing (at least for now)???

i think they will end up getting rid of 1 or more of jamison, butler, haywood if they are even further behind soon.

GO TEAM VENTURE!!!!!

I would do this deal briggs, I think Mcgee is going to be a very fine player, it gives you options with lee.. if you want, you can trade lee, or let him walk... but a Mcgee, gallo and Hill front line is one long front line... the question is.. will dantoni play Mcgee.. LOL

The problem is McGee might get less minutes in NY than he gets in D.C.

He will eventually (and may be able to now) be able to do many of the things Jeffries does on D, and he is a better offensive player. If he plays D, and shows consistency as a player, he will get playing time.

Washington won't make this trade, though.

I would throw in HIll. Take a hard look at the Nets game and tell me we don't need a 7 footer who can do more than take charges next to Lee. Hill is shorter than Gallinari.

Jared Jeffries for Mike James. Give them Jordan Hill if you must but just get rid of Jeffries. They're begging for defense. Maybe they'll get desperate. Other than that, I don't want anything to do with that roster.

oh, i agree.

i don't think washington is in the position to trade their young cheap guys anymore after the arenas incident though.

i'd like to see what hill can do playing next to lee - at least when we play a power big like lopez. but if you think about it, there really aren't many power bigs anymore. very few: dwight howard, bynum, gasol, al jeff, brook lopez, maybe brand... maybe boozer... amar'e sometimes... maybe blake griffin if he ever gets healthy. but d'antoni's gimmick defense with jeffries works well enough against most teams. if we really want to win games i think we need a real defensive big and a real point guard.

Including Larry Hughes in a deal might help us get someone we want from them. They liked him when they had him. They also liked Jeffries.

I'd love to get McGee from Washington even it it meant parting with Jordan Hill.

Mike Miller, Mike James, Javale McGee, and Crittenton
for
Larry Hughes, Nate Robinson, and Jordan Hill

We don't add any salary to there cap but we let them dump Crittenton and get back a Rookie on a longer rookie deal.

Do we still have Cutino Mobley's contract to trade? I thought I read somewhere that it was coming off the books in Nov '09.

I read here, on UK, that they were waiting for a decision from the league. I don't think that decision came yet because Tommy Dee would be on it.

WE AIN'T NOWHERE WITH THIS BUM CHOKER IN CARMELO. GIVE ME STARKS'S 2-21 ANY DAY OVER THIS LACKLUSTER CLUSTEREFF.
