Just voted for my starting 5 on NBA.com. I wanted to put DLee in there but the archaic voting system at NBA insists LeBron has to be a forward so I coudln't do a DWade/Lebron backcourt. That means Bron/Bosh had to be my forwards. Maybe he gets voted in as a reserve?

West

Chris Paul
Kobe
Dirk
Duncan
Nene

East:

Rondo
Wade
The Bron
Bosh
Dwight Howard

ideally it woulda been

West

Chris Paul
Kobe
Melo
Drik
Duncan

East

Wade
Lebron
Lee
Bosh
Howard

You could stick Josh Smith in at SF but screw it David Lee is playing pretty frikkin well right now.

Let's try to elevate the level of discourse in this byeetch. Please

David Lee, ALL STAR! Do they let you vote multiple times? Is there a way to do that?

You can vote once a day. I'm voting again tomorrow for all the underappreciated guys I think won't get enough votes.

I will vote every day, every morning. I will get all of my friends and family to do the same. We must get David Lee to start in the game.

They don't classify Lee as a Center? What a rip. He actually should make it as a reserve PF/C.

If Lee is an all-star, which he definitely deserves to be, it will be as a backup center. The forwards in the east look like almost a lock. LeBron, Garnett, Pierce, Josh Smith, and Bosh.

Seriously, I think only Bosh, Smith and Lebron really have a better case than Lee as an All-star. I think Lee measures up to both Pierce and Garnett numbers wise to make the team.

He definitely does match up numbers wise, but they're going to get 3 all-stars this year, and two of them will be pierce and garnett, it's almost a guarentee. Lee has been playing center all year for the knicks, and should be voted as one, and who is playing better then him at center? Lopez is on the worst team in the league, so he's not getting in. Shaq is done at this point. Bogut is playing well, but not as good as Lee and on a team that's no better either. Noah isn't there yet. Horford would have a shot but smith and johnson should both be all-stars and atl doesn't deserve more than 2. There's some decent centers out there right now, but given that Lee has been playing there all year, he's the best option behind Dwight.

All this voting is going to drive up his price for us to resign him next year. But, what the heck. I am jumping in, too. He really deserves it, defense or not.

Woot! Go Davey.

I still don't understand why Boston's big 3/4 have to make it. Honestly, out of all of them, Pierce probably deserves it most. I don't think any of them are shoe ins though. I guess you can put Rondo in there but he has low points, can't shoot and while he has high assists they are very ordinary, but I guess you can make a case for him.
