Just took a quick glance at the Eastern standings and we are only 1 game ahead of Washington and 2 games ahead of the Grangerless Pacers. With that said lets not start popping champagne bottles just yet guys. Slots 5 thru 8 are available to any team in the East but the one big thing is some of those other teams may be willing to make a trade to improve now but we are locked into 2010.

The east is always going to be like this because the second tier teams are so even, and there aren't many downright terrible teams. We could easily see Philly move up as well, but at the same time, see teams like toronto, charlotte, and milwaukee slip. The east is going to bounce back and forth all season, the key for the Knicks is to stay right in the middle of the pack, then have things really figured out by march.

DET is on a major 7 game skid, and they got Hamilton, Prince, and Gordon all healthy again tonite to face NYK.

MIL has dipped to a 12-17 record.

We're right in the mix. This is where you start thinking about games like against BOS with KG's buzzer beater, the loss at Denver, our play down the stretch against the Heat/Spurs.

Knicks can't make it 3 L's in a row tonight. That would put as back to Isiah status.
