I woulda thought PS3 would be something that would just ruin the mind and stop humans from fulfilling their full potential?

It's not something I asked for. Still, I tell you why you are wrong:

Playing games like Call of Duty, in moderation, can improve the mind by sharpening spatial skills, and probably a bunch of other skills. As little as a few hours per week (which is how much I play) can serve to keep the mind sharp and fresh while contributing to an overall Winning-Brain. It's been shown in some study or other that old people (Nalod you should look into this) who play a few hours a week of games like Call of Duty improve their brain function. I see this in "Think Smart". Also, it give me chance to keep in touch with some younger cousins and I teach them the virtues of leadership and championship-brain cultivation.

I know you be messin'. You is jokeman. But I use opportunity to extol benefits of moderate video game usage.

Your advice is meaningless. Video games are a disgrace to society. What happened to the children playing outside in the fields, flying their kites and kicking a rolled up ball of rags around? Technology is taking over the world.

Ha. Keyword: moderation. Technology is not evil in itself, but the obsessive application of it, is.

I was just playing with a friend and he had the riot shield and he was walking ahead of me with me RIGHT BEHIND and I would just peek out and kill the enemy and i went 31-4 like this!! so good the riot shield!

dude i was also playing with FMJ attachment with bling and suppressor and that just goes straight through a riot shield!! surprised more people don't use it.

then this other time, I had 30 kills in 3 free-for-all games in a row!!! I was on fire!!! using only ump45

I rock COD on xbox. So far on my third prestige with a K/D ratio of 1.66 and 20+ nukes. Orange, no offense but the UMP45 is trash. Try the AUG H-bar with stopping power and sleight of hand, with kill streaks of harrier/choppergunner/nuke. Youll own kiddo

Children playing outside are supposedly "at risk". The minivan-ization of the american family is at fault. Women's lib to blame.

lol @ being BANNED by Martin since 11/07/10 (for asking if Mr. Earl had a point). Really, Martin? C'mon. This is the internet. I've seen much worse on this site. By Earl himself. Drop the hypocrisy.

I just ordered this game from amazon - I dont have much time to play these days so when I buy a game I wait until I beat it to get the next one. I also sell them used on Ebay so I can roll the cash into the new game.

I was playing Ratchet and Clank a Crack in Time - awesome game if you like platformers - cool graphics, tons of awesome weapons, funny dialogue. I highly recommend it.

Looking forward to this one, I have played almost all of the COD games and I have had m eye on this one for a long time.

You will enjoy it Oasis. It's a vast improvement on the last two. More complex levels, going both vertical and horizontal, you got awesome perks, amazing weapon combos, and you got titles and emblems which identify you on the battlefield and there are so many to choose from that you can really stand out and be hip.

That said, I stopped playing because I got fed up with the violence in the game. I can't kill people like that anymore, it has a terrible effect on the brain. It makes you numb to killing which is very dangerous for children and adults alike. Also, after playing consistently for a few weeks I found myself getting more aggressive and easily agitated. I am much more peaceful after stopping play.

If they had like, a Jesus game, where Jesus goes and he makes tables or picks fruit, I would play that. But the wholesome game market is sorely lacking. I will check out Ratchet, is that for ps3?
