Since we now have a roster spot... and since we're obvious a major contender (heh), I was looking at players in the CBA and NBDL who could possibly help us. For now I'll ignore the guys playing overseas, since it'd probably be hard for them to break out of contracts.

Some names I came across:

Jemeil Rich, aka the guy outplayed by FW in summer leagues this year, is leading the CBA in assists. We don't need him with the emergence of FW--- but in the event we buy out either Ward/Eisley, we'll probably want a 3rd PG on the roster...

We don't really need frontcourt help but here are a couple of names to think about:
Leon Smith, the troubled 6'10" 1st rounder with Shawn Kemp-potential from several years back is still floating around, averaging 14/10. He just turned 23 in November. If he's gotten his life together maybe he'll be a player... then again, maybe not...

The ageless Roy Tarpley is still playing ball, averaging 16/11...

Jason Collier--- in case we trade away Doleac, we have a veritable clone.

A bunch of players with some NBA success are here too: Anthony Goldwire (of the Hornets/Nuggets), Frankie King (of the Lakers), Cedric Henderson (an early surprise of the Cavs), Randy Livingston (the next Jason Kidd, before he blew out his knee in college), Bonner, Pig Miller (12rpg!).

There isn't much to speak of in the NBDL - Omar Cook is leading the way with 8.4apg... oh wow, remember Kareem Reid? He's 2nd with 7.3apg... other marquee college names include Mateen Cleaves and Erick Barkley, not to mention Lavor Postell...

Could a wing like Terrence Morris help the Knicks?
