It's something I've been wondering too, HCKF. Money & contracts aside, I'd sooner have Ward on my squad than Eisley.

There are a bunch of veteran PGs not in the NBA who could probably replace the output of these guys... all of whom would take league minimum in a heartbeat. You take the hit upfront by waiving these guys. It gets you closer to the cap a little sooner.
