What does Gordon do for the Pistons to help them be a winning team? Is he really that valuable? Fact is Rose doesn't have anyone to pass it to. They need a stud down low and a 6th man. Great. Give em Curry and Nate for Hinrich and Thomas. Hinrich is more serviceable to us than Curry, both have big contracts but Hinrich is a mil smaller, and gives us more options for what happens when Duhon expires. I think Chicago might be the only team to bite on Curry what do you think?
i'm confused by your statement. ben gordon is a top shooter in the league and is very big down the stretch of games. when you play a ton of close games like the bulls have over the past 7 seasons, you don't win them without a guy stepping up and taking you over the hump - that's what ben did for them. those type of players are not that easy to find. their owner is all twisted in how he gives out contracts. they are another team that's all-in on 2010...
he's a finisher. Its hard to win close games in the NBA without one, and every team that wins a title has one. Shaq is the most dominant player I have seen in the sport. In his prime you put him on ANY NBA roster and that team wins 50 a year. But he didnt win a title until he had Kobe to finish the games. Its a such an important role.
