We should trade Nate, hill, a second rd pick, and $3 mill for stephon curry and Randolph. Great trade for both teams.

I think we would be killing the Warriors with that trade. Yeah they get Nate, but I doubt he'd stick with Golden State, and I don't see Jordan Hill being any better than Randolph at this point. Plus you're asking them to give up Curry to top it off?

should we consider the frequent trade rumors involving anthony randolph an indictment on him as a player? or are the warriors just so nutty of a franchise that it is pointless to make sense of their mess?

I think it could be a combination of both. Randolph probably entered the NBA at way too young of an age. He's not mentally or physically ready. Yet that whole franchise is just a mess as well, from the players, to Don Nelson to Mullin.

At this point in their careers, Nate is as good as curry. Plus hill will give them a high quality big man to develop. With the cash and the draft pick included, I really don't think the deal is that lopsided.

Nate is as good, but look at it like this. Don Nelson was a prick to Crawford and that whole situation was messy. What makes you think it wont be the same with Nate. He'll just leave after the season. So they traded away Randolph AND Curry for Hill and a 2nd rounder. That's called the Warriors railing themselves up the butt.

I mean if we can get this guy--we won't need to spend an additional 15mm if we get Lebron. I don't know if we have the goods to get him--I would give up 2 number 1 picks and put him at PF for the next 10 years.

Let me add to that--look at how much better Al Harrington plays here--AR has been hurt all year and they have treated him in the Nelson doghouse like AH Jackson et al. This is the time to strike on a player like this--it would be a long term[and short term coup] I still think this guy is a top 5 talent in that talented draft--he has all of the skills--is 20 and salary restricted for 3 more years. Hill and a number 1 pick

They could've drafted Hill if they wanted him. To give up Curry to bring in Hill seems odd.

Are we thinking that Nate is so much > Anthony Randolph that it would force a pick swap?

Highly doubt they would just throw in the towel like that.

I think Nelson should be canned before GS gets serious about players coming and going.

Definitely. They need a clear head there before they start offloading potentially awesome players. They might regret what's about to go down for a long time.

Assuming they have given up on Randolph, getting Hill would be a nice replacement piece. Maybe we have to throw in Douglas to get it done, but it still would be a solid trade from our perspective. I think Curry has more PG skills than Douglas and Randolph has at least as much potential as Hill.

So I have to be the first to ask: Does Walsh or MDA actually want Randolph on the Knicks

Saw this on hoopshype today. Wow...If he's available you gotta look into it, even if it cost Jordan Hill (a guy Nelson worked out and supposedly liked right before the draft btw). Maybe you try and grab Randolph and CJ Watson in the same deal. Or Anthony Morrow...Joec's deal would be incredible though wouldn't it? Imagine if we could get Monta Ellis and Randolph in the same deal AND THEN add LeBron James to that this off-season??? Man, forget about it..In order to get both Ellis & A. Randolph in the same deal, I'd be willing to part with anything on the roster as long as they also agreed to take back Jeffries (we'd need to clear JJ's salary for next year in order to add that 1 big FA like a LeBron)...I mean ANYTHING...Gallo, Chandler, Hill, Douglas, whatever..

Forget DJ Augustin - he's a decent talent but there will be a ton of undersized albeit pretty talented PGs in the Augustin mold available in the 2nd round next summer or even after the draft..If Golden State all of a sudden is really serious about dealing everything and everyone out there, Donnie's gotta call the Warriors first to see what's what before anything else..

AR has a chance to be a real NBA superstar--why wouldnt they want him? Maybe some reality losses will bring both of those guys back down a few pegs

not sure why that's a good trade for GS tho, Nate's another undersized SG & they have a much better one in Ellis already.

After 7 years & 40K+ posts, banned by martin for calling Nalod a 'moron'. Awesome.

Ellis is on the block too.

This is the type of situation where I get the feeling Golden State will really end up ****ing themselves.
