In lieu of the recent outpouring of support from the community for a fellow member in need, I feel it is not out of line to REQUEST your very sincere prayers in my quest to acquire a bachelor of science degree, the fate of which hangs on my wednesday night linear algebra final. I need a 'D'. And then I'm in the clear.

So, in this thread, give me good blessings, show me love. Put up funny pictures. Things like that.

If I pass this class, I will, one day in the very distant future, hook you all up with a signed copy of my autobiography.

God bless me.

WE AIN'T NOWHERE WITH THIS BUM CHOKER IN CARMELO. GIVE ME STARKS'S 2-21 ANY DAY OVER THIS LACKLUSTER CLUSTEREFF.

if you can't get a D on a final exam, regardless of topic, you deserve to fail. Hope that provides some motivation....

A "D"? A man of your mental discipine should be able to take a test and get a "D" even if you are on Ambien!

BTW, what is going on here? Orange is praying for a "D", and AllanFan is all excited about a chick he met with her mother and Aunt and now having to decide is he is going to fly "Jet Blue Balls" to see her?

Whats next, hygene talk? How fat our hips are getting?

All this without Bonnie? You guys make Bonnie look like Charles Bronson!

Nah bros, I mistyped. I need an A on the exam to get a D in the class. Well, this is worst case. I might actually be on the cusp of a C right now, and maybe even a B would get me a D. Is all speculation. I just worry about it because it can derail my life.

LOL @ Nalod, you make funny.

I typically prefer D's to A's, but good luck anyway.

It's just this one stupid class. So far I have 2 A's, a B, and C D.

The thing is, linear algebra is real easy, so I just ignored it all semester, kinda barely got by. And now I'm looking at this **** for the final, it's a lot to cram in a few days.

Try to be best
'cause you're only a man
and a man's gotto learn to take it
try to believe
when the going gets rough (When the things get
difficult)
that you gotta hang tough to make it (to be strong)

History repeats itself
try and you'll succeed
never doubt that you're the one
and you can have your dream

you're the best around
nothing is gonna ever keep you down

you're the best around
nothing is gonna ever keep you down

you're the best around
nothing is gonna ever keep you down

Fight till the end
'Cause your life will depend
On the strength that you have inside you
Gotta be proud
standing out in the crowd
when they odds of the game defy you (When most of the
things in the game are against you)

try your best to win them all
and one day time will tell
when you're the one that's standing there
you've reached the final bell

you're the best around
nothing is gonna ever keep you down

you're the best around
nothing is gonna ever keep you down

you're the best around
nothing is gonna ever keep you down

(instrumental)

you're the best around
nothing is gonna ever keep you down

you're the best around
nothing is gonna ever keep you down

Fight till you drop
Never stop
You can't give up until you win sometime
(Fight!)
You're the best in town
(Fight!)
Listen to that sound
A little bit of all you've got
never bring you down!
Chorus

Good luck bro. I feel for ya - you're talking to a guy who can bearly add 2 + 2. Graduated with a history degree from Stony Brook but those math classes I had to take early on (they called 'em 'dec requirements' at SB) were brutal. I still remember this two-part statistics class I had to take. After the 1st test which was easy enough, I was completely in the dark -- and the the teacher let you use your own little notes and cheat sheets to take the tests!!! And a calculator...Still don't know how I passed that class..LMAO!! And remember those math classes in HS -- Sequential I & II? Got a 70 on the Sequential 1 Regents (thank God the teacher was cool and a big Yankee fan) but man was that Seq. II class in 10th grade a complete struggle. Come on, logic proofs??? WTF was that **** all about? If not T than F...Get the F^&% outta here. LOL...Good luck big O, I'm sure you'll do fine buddy...

see, this is EXACTLY why there should be more funding for public education.

I'll pray you pass, but contigent that the degree isn't in medicine or engineering or some degree that relates to my safety or other memebers of this board. Meaning: I don't want to die because I drove on some bridge you designed that will almost assuredly fail.

So, sure, I'll pray you pass your class but there will be restrictions placed upon my prayers

The degree is in engineering.

And you are truly an idiot. You say these things not knowing anything of my overall record in engineering courses, and assume that because I am going for a D in a very silly little linear algebra course (an elective) that I am somehow incompetent in my field. You know nothing of engineering and you most definitely would not be able to even hang in engineering school for more than a semester. You talk of one silly little 'calculus' course you took in college and think that you understand math. You know nothing of linear algebra (the elective I'm taking because a course in aerodynamics was closed) and assume that it's a crucial part of engineering. It's a joke little math class that has RUTGERS students in it (). Where do you get off saying this ****?

My required math sequence consisted of:
Calculus I, II, III, differential equations...

Truly, truly, you are a very dense man.
