As a matter of fact, On NBA TV, they showed the '96,'99 and 2000 games between the Knicks and Heat. Classic confrontations between both teams. Now in 2003, They're nowhere near those previous teams??

Are you guys seriously saying that the Knicks in 19976-97 were better than this knick team? Come on man! All we did was sweep Charlotte who had no one! Even teir PG was a midget! This is the best knick team ever! H2O KVH and DICE! Who can beat that awesome threesome?

Yes, they were. They won more games, and were feared thoughout the league. Back then, opposing players didn't look forward to coming to the Garden except Reggie Miller, Zo, and MJ. Nowadays, it's like open mic / karaoke night against the Knicks. It used to be "no layups", now there's what seems to be a red carpet in the paint with a sign over the backboard that says "DUNK HERE".

Silver, you are tripping if you really think THIS (12-19)squad is the best ever. "Best" teams either win a title or come damn close. We have no real superstars on this team. Come on, Allan (solid but no star), Dyess (won't EVER be the same after the injury) and Van Horn (a soft, inconsistent, tease)???

IMO the best team we had was the last crew that won a title- in 72-73. As shameful as it sounds, it's true. Next time you're up in the Garden, take a look at the ceiling. Then you can refresh your memory about what "Best teams" are.

Another season, and more adversity to persevere through. We will get the job done, even BETTER than last year. GO KNICKS!

I was kidding! If you for even one second thought I was serious.....! I hate everyone on this team! All these players are overpaid underskilled losers! Not worthy of the Knick uniform, not a single one of them! (except for Frank and MILOS!)
