I can't think of one single highlight from Spoons tenure with the Knicks. My only recollection of Spoon is as a member of the Miami Heat when he missed the last shot against the Knicks to send them to the Eastern Conference Finals.
After all, even Ken "Sky" Walker at least has slam dunk crown.

As much as I hate him, there are some highlights worse (supposed to be spelled like that) remembering.

1. Dunked on Yao, and I mean he gave him a facial.
2. Was an often injured double-double threat his 1st year with us.
3. Has had anywhere from 3 to 7 fat rolls on his neck.
4. Was stuffed more then the thanksgiving turkey every game.
5. Finally gave us a great joy by being cut.
A glimmer of hope maybe?!?

Another season, and more adversity to persevere through. We will get the job done, even BETTER than last year. GO KNICKS!

What are you guys talking about? Weatherspoon is one of the best forwards in the NBA. He has amazing physical ability and can literally explode to the hoop. His athleticism and agility make him invaluable to any team. If given the chance he could turn into a franchise player.

I only wish we could have Layden back who knew what he was doing! Eisley, H2O, KVH, Weatherspoon and Deke make for an unbeatable lineup!

eisley is a worthless piece of ****...that should be like a song or slogan. you know it's real easy to defend him? and i don't mean cause he sucks, he won't shoot the ball if you pay him 10mil a year! even if he misses, the D will open up the floor if he takes an ocasional shot. i wonder if chaney know's he does'nt have to play him just cause he's on the team?

Eisley is an all-star caliber player who decision making skills are unmatched. He quickness and natural talent automatically rank him in the top 3 NBA PG's! He is an extremely clutch shooter and effecient as well. He has a weakness however and that is that he cannot perform well when comming off the bench. Chaney should bench Fwill and start Eisley just becaues Fwill gives you 1 good game 1 bad game and we just cannot have that.

Let Eisley start

if you want to be fair his best moment was probably dunking on Yao Ming last year. He also had 26 rebs in a game he started at center when Thomas was out last year. The Knicks beat the MAgic in OT.

Thank god he's gone. Lets oust Howard next...

exactly he's not a bad player to have on your team if you're a good team with good forwards. The problem is we're not.

I was kidding about spoon when I said he is good! This guy is terrible! Not only is he out of shape, he is also undersized and a lot slower than he is used to being. He cannot rebound the ball against PF's anymore and is too slow for SF's. He is worthless and not only that, he takes up a lot of room on the cap.

There should be no questions in anyone's mind that Spoon is absolutely useless for us and for any team. He is old and out of shape. He needs to pull a Vin Baker or cause he is a Shawn Kemp right now!

You fail to look at Eisley's stats-he's always one of the league leaders in assist to turnover ratio. If you hand the ball to Houston who fakes and goes up with a jumper +1 assist -0 turnovers. Plus he's great at killing the clock-just forgets a little that there is a 24 sec clock. He is fast and protects the ball just doesn't pentrate, make a tough pass or shoot well for 3 out 4 games or so. But when he's on he looks like max player-problem is some forget the other three games. Be kind to the those with disabilities

Eisley is one of the worst PG's I have seen in my entire life. His assist to TO ratio is low because he hands the players the ball. I'm not sure if u are being sarcastic like I was but Eisley is just not an effective PG. Maybe a backup, MAYBE.

Silver-Of course it was tongue in cheek-Eisley is not a point guard-just a mediocre sg-who plays the opposition pg. Assists can be misleading-the last knick game fwill had 6 assists but what didn't show were 3 or 4 times he drove the lane, passed off to kt who flipped out to another player for an open shot. No assist for fwill but he was the reason for the points.
