The Orlando Magic's Stan Van Gundy will seek to become the first NBA head coach to capture the Foot Locker Three-Point Shootout crown, which will be held on Saturday, Feb. 13, at American Airlines Center, as part of NBA All-Star Saturday Night.

Van Gundy, whose three-point shot resembles that of a young Craig Hodges, was announced today as one of six Three-Point contestants during a press conference in Dallas. Van Gundy will be joined by defending champion Daequan Cook of the Heat, rookie Brandon Jennings of the Bucks, Matt Bonner(notes) of the Spurs, Anthony Morrow) of the Warriors and Bulls coach Vinny Del Negro — if he isn't fired by then

THat must be a joke. The highest percentage 3pt shooter in the league is not invited but Stan Van Gundy is invited. WTF??!!! If this is real, then I will not be watching the All-star activities this year because they have turned into a joke.

I like Stan but he has some famous nick names, The Master of Panic, Ron Jeremy. He is a good quote but his balling days are well past him.
