I cannot do the list function, but the last number is the playoff odds. The Knicks have a 43.3 percent chance of making the playoffs.

2010 NBA Playoff Odds
Hollinger's NBA Playoff Odds are based on the Hollinger Power Rankings, designed by ESPN.com's John Hollinger.

HOLLINGER RANKINGS

• Power Rankings: Who's No. 1?
• Player Stats: PER leaders
• Team Stats: Efficiency leaders

The Hollinger Power Rankings are a measure of each team's performance in the season so far.

Based on those rankings, each day the computer plays out the remainder of the season 5,000 times to see the potential range of projected outcomes. The results reveal the most likely win-loss record for each team -- and what the odds are for each team to make the NBA playoffs, win the NBA title, win the lottery, and so on.

For more on how the system works and what it means, see Hollinger's explanation.

Hollinger's NBA Playoff Odds are updated automatically each night.

Yeah, I agree. Hollinger gives new meaning to the phrase "stats are meaningless." But I thought I would post it anyway since it is on ESPNs website.

Hollinger has no cohones... he's bush.

I remember when the worshiped "per" numbers came out. Poof.. this magic method for crunching numbers told us that Lebron, Kobe, CP3, Duncan, KG and Jason Kidd where the best players in the league because they had the highest PER. Awesome.

Hollinger used to post here under the handle TomVerve
