Ok, this one is total rumor but Mike James for Jeffries makes sense. Please make this one happen. Would Mike James be a good leader on this team playing the Malik Rose role? I'm also assuming that N8 will be traded by the deadline.

"Speaking of deals, word out of Washington is that Mike James is available. James is a Long Island guy and if the rumors of a possible James for Jared Jeffries deal that have been reported were true before, you’d have to think they’d be on again. The Wiz are hanging around at 7-11 and may benefit from Jeffries, who had his best professional success in the Nation’s Capital.

Ooops, that’s just a rumor though." http://www.theknicksblog.com/2009/12/06/so-whats-the-deal/

hahah, I almost forgot about seeing MJ on Supernanny. Maybe not the leadership type.

If this is a true rumor, I seriously hope we can make this thing work.

hasnt this deal been discussed since last february?

just cuz tommy dee makes a blog post doesn't mean any news is happening. the other day he posted we should look at trading for Tmac. Really? I had never thought of that Tommy Dee.. thanks.

lol @ being BANNED by Martin since 11/07/10 (for asking if Mr. Earl had a point). Really, Martin? C'mon. This is the internet. I've seen much worse on this site. By Earl himself. Drop the hypocrisy.

At first I thought you must be thinking "LeBron", but you were thinking "Jerome", weren't you?

15% trade kicker, remember guys? why would WAS wanna make this deal? they have Andray Blatche who's emerging as a nice frontcourt player for them along w/Jamison & Haywood & a young McGee who's 10 times the player Fishlips is that can't even get any minutes right now over there.

Word. Might not improve our defense, but it would dump a bad contract pre-2010 and it would give us some wardrobe pizazz that doesn't involve Clyde. Anything but more fubar Clyde wardrobe, please.

Good points, all I can say is that McGee isn't really ready yet but is the better player. Having a more seasoned player like Jeffries could help the other bigs to a point. They like Jeffries, but I guess they have enough players as you state...

Oh, TMS, the trade kicker is no big deal, we can just throw cash into the deal, no?

we can throw up to $3 mil in cash, which would offset some of the cost but still not enough to warrant another team taking on his deal IMHO... we'd have to offset the cost some other way, like maybe packaging him together w/Mobley's insurance paid contract & adding another sweetener into the deal to have any hope of dumping him if u ask me.
