I mean come on its sooooo obvious! Houston doesn't really need anything but a center. They don't need Nate or Harrington...Curry is hurt.

Cuttino, Darko, and Jared for McGrady

Looks like the Rockets staff was running T-mac through a simulated game. I saw the OKC Thunder run Wilcox through a simulated game last year before the Knicks got him via trade. Teams usually make guys run through alot of dribble drives, lay-ups, finishing strong and some jumpshots going full-speed to keep them working on game days...it also means the player is almost ready to get back on the court for the real deal.

Lets do this already...

If Donnie could pull off two moves at once like the Craw/Zach deals, then I would do this...

Houston
- TMac and Lowry for Chandler-Curry-Mobley

Chicago
- Al Harrington for Jerome James and Tyrus Thomas

New Rotation
PG: Duhon/Lowry/Nate
SG: TMac/Douglas/Hughes
SF: Gallo/Jeffries
PF: Thomas/Hill
C: Lee/Hill

You'd be a better slashing team, with much much better guard penetration than we had out of Chandler and Duhon. Thomas would give us similar production to Al with better shot blocking, maybe less IQ and it would free more minutes for Hill.

Nate and Lee should be shipped out ultimately, but it seems like they're almost impossible to deal due to the language in their deals and the CBA

Alan Hahn: Nate Robinson has been on a ridonkulous scoring tear lately (remember when he couldn't hit Jerome James with a Big Mac in early January?)

id love to get tmac here he can prove his doubters wrong plus he is an expiring contract:) him playing the 2 would be awesome

imagine if we pull

darko/mobley/money?

for tmac

that would be awesome

plus the adam morrison for jeffries would be great for both teams as we can waive morrison right away

It would be a better team, but TD would get buried behind T-Mac and Hughes. And with Lowry in there he may not get any minutes at PG either. But if T-Mac is ready to turn things around he may be worth a shot. Question is how long would we do this experiment? If its for this season only then we should do it.

I don't think the Knicks need Lowry...it just causes problems with the minutes and besides Lowry has a role in Houston...They are concerned with not disrupting team chemistry over there. They probably have the best chemistry in the entire league right now.

The Knicks are the only team that can trade contracts to match T-mac's league leading salary. I don't think there is a team out there that would trade their whole franchise just to get T-mac...T-mac hasn't even played a game and nobody is sure what type of player he is now, and what type of mind set he's in.

Darko and Jared give Houston size without having to take back Curry who would pose a problem next year with Yao Ming coming back. Houston's team is the smallest in the league...nobody is over 6'9 in their whole rotation. They could use Jared and Darko especially for fouls in the playoffs. Cuttino is a crowd favorite and would be a feel good story for the fans to have Cuttino retire on the books as a Rocket.

T-mac in NY....whew...we would be watching the comeback stories for the rest of our lives if T-mac came to NY and settled into Mike D'antoni's system...sucseeds...then sticks around for next year at a way cheaper pay rate. Tagging along with whoever Donnie can sign in the off season....

It's just a win win situation....Us Knick fans need this type of feel good story. Basketball God's have forsaken us!

I say, without the guarantee of two max players.

Without a draft pick in 2010.

Missing the boat on a solid draft pick in 2009.

Tmac to NY is a must at this point.

Especially if we could unload Curry or Jefferies at the same time.

I would give them our 2010 second round pick and 2011 1st round.

Just imagine having Tmac, 2 max players, Galo, Chandler, Hill, TD, and other roll players.

It's like having 3 max / superstar players on one team (ala Boston Celtics). Assuming Tmac comes back to form. And he still has game left, plus a change in scenery always helps to boost your career.

Has Tmac ever played with 2 max players? He doesn't have to work as hard, and should stay healthier with less work, since he wouldn't be the go to man.

Just dreaming, but hey it seems reachable to me....

Born in Brooklyn, Raised in Queens, Lives in Maryland. The future is bright, I'm a Knicks fan for life!

But that presumes TMac signing on for the veterans minimum to play With 2 other Max players. Even if we dump JJ there's not enough room for more than a few million after signing 2 Max guys.
lol @ being BANNED by Martin since 11/07/10 (for asking if Mr. Earl had a point). Really, Martin? C'mon. This is the internet. I've seen much worse on this site. By Earl himself. Drop the hypocrisy.

i like the T-Mac idea, i think that works for both teams... but the Harrington for TT/Turd deals i'm hesitant on... Harrington's in the running for 6th man of the year... why not offer Nate for TT straight up? both have expiring deals (if we renounce TT's rights after this season)... Nate's an upgrade over what the Bulls are trotting out there to back up Rose & Salmons right now, he could fill the Ben Gordon role... i think it works for both teams.

After 7 years & 40K+ posts, banned by martin for calling Nalod a 'moron'. Awesome.
