Poor people willingly fork over their meager disposable income to the state, just like Tax Day, but no one complains. If you play the lotto regularly, you are just giving hundreds of dollars to the state every year. Thousands per lifetime. You think poor people wouldn't want a couple more thousand dollars?

Who do they cater these lottery advertisements to? Immigrants, and poor working class people. Are rich peeople playing the lottery? Hell no! The odds are worse than any Casino game.

To be more fair, there should be a winner every drawing. But they make tons of money rolling over the jackpot while poor people keep doubling and tripling down in a game they have less odds of winning than being struck by lightning (twice).

Stop throwing your money away.

lol @ being BANNED by Martin since 11/07/10 (for asking if Mr. Earl had a point). Really, Martin? C'mon. This is the internet. I've seen much worse on this site. By Earl himself. Drop the hypocrisy.

honestly, the people i see buying lotto tickets at the branch brook park station in newark disgust me. they're less than human. if they want to buy lotto tickets, by all means, give extra cash to the state; god knows you wouldn't do anything constructive with it in the first place.

WE AIN'T NOWHERE WITH THIS BUM CHOKER IN CARMELO. GIVE ME STARKS'S 2-21 ANY DAY OVER THIS LACKLUSTER CLUSTEREFF.
