See, part of my argument is that once the draft is over what difference does it make where they were taken? Why make decisions to justify a number that has no further bearing on the future? Based on the on court prodction I would still pick TD over Hill, I like them both as well. And I am not holding Hill repoonsible for his lack of PT, he has made use of what he has got.
I think if we look at trades in the next few months Walsh may have to make this choice and I would be interested in understanding what goes into that thought process. I think there is a dangerous practice of putting too much relevance into the draft position. Right now if TD plays better than Hill, why should their draft positions have anything to do with the decision? I know its hard to move on from the emotions around the draft and all the gazillion "what if" scenarios, but that is in the past. Why let that emotional bagggage affect our future decisions?
