He's one of the most active big men I have seen in a long time. He contests every shot that comes into the lane...He's in every single play. Guys get beat and he's right there taking a swing at a block attempt. Too bad he wasn't rewarded with any blocks for the stat sheet, but he most have contested at least 15 shots inside during the fourth quarter.

Rebounding also...Breen said that Jordan needs to learn how to work harder on the boards...I dunno what he was watching because Jordan can't get every rebound while he is trying to protect the basket....he needs help inside.

I'd like to see David Lee and Jordan Hill start games. Jordan is slowly getting better and better with more minutes. His energy is off the chain. He runs up and down the court easily too and never takes a break. That tone needs to be set from the opening tip.

Glad someone's seeing what I'm seeing..This guy wasn't just your average player last year at Arizona, he was VERY GOOD. I wanna see a frontcourt of Hill, Lee and Harrington with some Gallo and Chandler mixed in. Even if you wanna keep Al where he is right now and continue starting Gallo, that's fine too, but these are the 5 frontcourt players I'd be going with right now...That's how I'd be playing this. To me it's been a no-brainer right from draft day. obviously sees it differently. Why I couldn't tell ya. Jeffries is horrible...

Ditto that. I think it'd help Chandler also. He seems to play better against other teams second unit. One thing that is becoming clearer, the kid plays well when his confidence is up (ok, yeah duh). For an un-emotional kid, he' seems very emotional (under the surface that is)

You had me at "VERY GOOD" and lost me at "some Gallo". Gallo should never be taken out of the starting lineup.

Agree with most of your post, but I have to say that I think Jared's been playing pretty decent lately. I know he's not wowing anyone with his overall stats but I do think he has a positive impact on the game when he's in there. He always seems to be in the right place at the right time. Sure he takes some ugly J's and might miss a layup but overall I think he's been affecting the game pretty positively.

Hill has not even come close to his potential. In 2 years after this kid has worked on his game and added some weight, he is going to be a beast. I think he will definitely be worthy of a starting spot at PF or C.

He has a lot working for him. He is very active and passionate about the game for starters. The way he improved every year at AZ; he went from a nobody to a lottery pick. Even though he came out as a junior he really was "inexperienced" with the game of basketball. He is a player that might really explode onto the scene when one considers his constant improvement thus far, through college to summer league to preseason to now...

He needs improvement with his hands for starters but his BBIQ is already going up, albeit not leaps and bounds. One thing I'm really happy about is his QUICK adjustment to the speed he is now seeing.

hill should play with energy.

i'd like to see him play more, too. but the bottom line is that he really won't until the team exhausts every chance to trade jeffries or curry at the trade deadline.

by march, i bet hill is playing 30 minutes a game.

Apart from having the same hairstyle, there isnt much similarity at all. Hill might be a bit raw, but his skill level and potential are both light years ahead of where Balkman will ever be.

Hill can shoot better than David Lee already. And as we've seen can defintely D up better already.

so can Mikki Moore.

comparing Lee's skill level to Hill's skill level is like comparing the rainfall over Seattle to the rainfall over Los Angeles

Dude all you can see is dreadlocks.

Comparing a rookie to a 4th year player is a dubious comparison. Lee came into the league with a knack for rebounding and finishing with both hands. Since then he has added a FT shot and a developing mid range game. I am not overwhelmed by DLee's skillset.

Oh, c'mon

Run the pick and roll for Hill as frequently as is done for Lee and I'd be willing to be he could get comparable numbers. There are not many things that Lee does which Hill cannot do or which he will not be able to do in the foreseeable future.

Looking at it the other way around, consider that in the 80 minutes he's played this season, Hill has as many blocked shots as Lee has in 625 minutes (6).

Hill sets some horrible picks. He rolls before any contact or obstruction is created. He obviously needs to work on this.

I just hope that people will like me
