Another Marc Berman article explains that McDyess was pulled out due to soreness in his knee.

McDyess was unable to play the second half in Tuesday's 98-92 loss to Minnesota and played just nine horrendous minutes (0 points, 0-for-2 from the floor). McDyess said he still "hopes" to suit up tomorrow when the Knicks begin a three-game Southern trip.


This cannot be happening!?! They better not sign McDyess to anything next year. That will be one of the biggest mistakes of the Zeke era if they sign McDyess. He has to clean house and that means letting McDyess walk. He is obviously not going to be anything like the player we thought he was going to be.

i believe it's part of the process. I think eventually his body will get used to it and the swelling will stop.

i would resign him hes gonna get better. he will be the next ewing. i hope we can somehow make a trade for van excell also cause thats his buddy.

Dyess' contract is up after the season. Isaiah will let him walk.
Another season, and more adversity to persevere through. We will get the job done, even BETTER than last year. GO KNICKS!

yo guns: Did you see what Dirk did last night? Freakin 31 pts and 14 rebs. Check out Marc berman. He was on 50 at 12:45 AND will be on the fan later tonite after the knick game. He was saying that Dyess will not be signed but Bredan probably will not be coach either.

He sai Doc is definately not comming to town.

This is what Berman's exact words were about Doc: "I think Santa is comming to town before Doc Rivers comes to town" thats kinda concrete bro.

But I dunno if Isiah wants to be a coach for a long time. They are saying that he is taking this GM thing seriously (so far so good) and if he does coach, it will only be for a few weeks when the playoffs are not a possibility to evaluate talen. Anyone but Chaney is right bro.

yup..just let him go at the end of the season

as far as Doc goes...he was on PTI last week and they asked if he would consider taking the Knicks job and he said not this season...He doesn't want to take ANY coaching job in the middle of the season.
After the season...maybe.
