Not signing Iverson shows that the Knicks are committed to their plan, to winning, and that they are under the leadership of a very steady hand.
Signing Iverson as a novelty act would have sent the wrong message, it would have said something like "hey man, we just want You (Lebron, Bosh, etc.,) as a novelty, not to win"
Not signing him, while maybe silly at a glance, will actually have more long-term positive effects than bad.
Word...has anyone looked at it like this or what?
