Now we will all see if sweetney will be given a chance to get playing time by actually getting into games . So many said he needs run to show what he can do, well Zeke has activated him to see if he can replace some older PF on roster. My opinion is that he won't be better than spoon just cheaper. Both are out of shape and need to lose weight like Doleac did. Lampe will prolly get the next chance to show his stuff even if Sweetney does prove himself worthy of rotation spot.

I am glad he made that move. Zeke's already having a positive impact.
Another season, and more adversity to persevere through. We will get the job done, even BETTER than last year. GO KNICKS!

Sweetney is good as traded. I think Isiah wants to know just how good he is. Many compared him to Elton Brand. If he can come through and make a real difference Isaih will give him a shot and trade Antonio's expiring contract for a stud. I dont think Sweetney will be overwhelming but he should be solid. I think its either Antonio or Michael. I think its come down to that. You dont draft #8 in the draft to get a 3rd string PF.

I would trade Antonio for a stud in a second...who would take him though and what would we get in return? I doubt we will get much.

Knicks could get a up and commer but they would have to take a not so great contract back in return. I know ATL would surely swap McDyess for Shereff.

Or

Antonio McDyess + Maceij Lampe + 2nd round pick.
for
Rashard Lewis + Calvin Booth

Classic Scott LayDown. Moves like that make up the legacy he leaves behind. Thank God he's gone. Isaiah won't trade or draft like that at all. Watch the team begingto develop a stronger identity. It's about time!
