I'm all for the 2010 plan, but want to obtain a reasonably decent shooting guard. Assuming Port or GS was a go, what do you guys think about either of these deals?

Lee, Jeffries and W.Chandler for M.Webster, T.Outlaw, S.Blake and Bayless? (after 12/22 for Lee)

Why? Lee is desired (but maybe leaving anyway), W.Chandler is replaced by Outlaw - expiring, Jeffries is gone. Blake helps us this season and also expires... Bayless and Webster are young and not too expensive (we are going to need reasonably cheap but talented players to fill out our roster - even with a superstar). Salary wise we would save a little for next years totals (9.1 to 7.0 for 2010-11)

GS trade...
Nate, J.Hill and W.Chandler for A.Randolph, A.Morrow and Claxton
or
Lee, Jeffries and W.Chandler for A.Randolph, A.Morrow, R.Bell and Radmanovic

Why? Really like Randolph and Morrow, Claxton expires... Nate likely gone anyway. Morrow could be that shooter we need.
Second scenario is less desirable - but it might require Lee to complete the deal. feedback welcome :)

i'm curious why u would want Radman included in any deal to get rid of Jeffries when they both have another year left on their deals at similar dollars? granted Rado is a better player than Jeffries but we don't need another non-defensive shooter on this team, do we? i can understand wanting to go after Randolph if u prefer him over Wilson Chandler in terms of upside, & Raja Bell would make sense for us because of his expiring & MDA connection.

why not simplify the deal & do Lee & Chandler for Randolph, Bell & expiring filler (Devean George or Mikki Moore), or Duhon, Chandler & our 2nd rd. pick for Randolph & Bell straight up?

I do like your deal better, I just wondered if GS would take Jeffries without giving a similar contract back. The point is to get a player you desire - I live in the bay area (watch the games) and feel Randolph has the potential to be really good/great. I also like Morrow who's cheap and shoots the 3 well. While I respect Lee, we know by now what he can/can't do - and it's not enough to be our starting four. thanks for the comments!
