He is unreal--the guy is having his best year ever and he keeps getting better--hes up over 70% completion rate.

Peyton Manning is the MVP... Favre has AP to keep teams honest... Favre's having an awesome season & deserves his props but Peyton is more responsible for his team's success than anyone else in the NFL... Manning's leading the NFL in total passing yards, yards per game, completion % & TD's thrown... plus his team's undefeated.

Agreed. Peyton is the Colts. Peyton has a bunch of green wideouts. Peyton does not have one of the best defenses in the NFL. Peyton does not have the best RB in the NFL.

A similar arguement could be made for Drew Brees. Personally, I like Peyton more but I wouldn't argue someone saying Brees.

But Favre? He's accomplished less than the two of those guys this season and he's got better teammates. There are two other QBs having great, undefeated seasons... no way the award goes to Favre.

i think Brees has more weapons than Peyton does & a more balanced team, but he's definitely right under Peyton in the MVP race right now.

You have to hand it to the guy - at his age this is a really impressive performance. Manning and DB should also be in the conversation about MVP but Favre has been awesome, lets see if he can finish strong.
